Terms & Conditions for the use of our services

1.0 Introduction

1.1 The Terms & Conditions displayed on this page form part of the contract between us First Call Funeral Support UK and yourselves the service user, for the services we provide you. 

1.2 Please take time to read our Terms & Conditions thoroughly prior to using any of our services.

2.0 Definitions

In our Terms & Conditions we will use will have the following meanings

2.1 We, Us, Our means First Call Funeral Support UK

2.2 Services/ Service means the funeral services we provide, listed on our home page

2.3 Contract means the contract between you and us for the services we provide 

2.4 You, Your, Client, Service User this is the company/ person who makes the initial engagement with us for the use of our services (This does not include any quotes/ Estimates that are requested)

2.5 Charges, Fees, Duty Fees, Services Charges this means the costs for our services we provide to you

2.6 Invoice/ Invoices this is the document (Paper/ Electronic Form) we send to you for the use of our services displaying the service charges

3.0 Services & Duty Fees

3.1 Our service details and duty fees are displayed on our website under "Duty Fees", we will give you a more accurate cost when requested, it will be produced as accurate as possible by using the details you provide us at the time of engagement. 

3.2 Our services will be provided to you when all documentation is complete and in place in order for us to proceed. 

3.3 At times we will be charged third- party fees, this could include for example toll bridge charges, London congestion charges, storage fees etc. When we incur these charges, we will forward them on to the service user at the original cost to us, we do not add any admin charges. The third-party charges will be added to the final invoice clearly stating what the charge is at its original cost

3.4 We reserve the right to make changes to our duty fees/ service but there will be 30 days notice given via our website, social media pages prior to the changes taking place

3.5 All our services are calculated and charged from our base postcode of SA20 0

4.0 Payments
4.1 At the time of booking one of our services we will ask for a 20% deposit, this will be deducted from the invoice total.
4.2 Our preference is that the remainder of the final invoice total is paid for on completion of the service but we do allow 30 days from the date displayed on the final invoice. 
4.3 The 30-DAY PAYMENT period from the “invoice date” this is 30 days and NOT 30 working days. The weekend is counted within the 30-DAY period
4.4 If the remaining amount of the invoice fails to arrive with us by the due date, we may add interest to the outstanding balance. When interest is added for late payments, we will send you a new invoice displaying the outstanding balance plus the interest that has been added. 
4.5 If full payment is not able to be made within our set time frame, please give us a call to discuss further 
4.6 The interest that will be added to the total outstanding balance on a daily basis at 8% plus the Bank of England base rate
4.7 We will not provide any additional services to anyone that has failed to pay/ has outstanding balance after the full payment due date
5.0 Data Protection
5.1 Any personal details you provide us through our website or via any documents will be handled in accordance with our data protection guidelines set out by an external organisation
5.2 We are registered with the ICO (Information Commissioners Office) and we follow guidelines set out by them 
5.3 Individuals have the right to access/ receive a copy of their personal information that we hold about them, the individual will have to submit an SAR (Subject Access Request) and we shall respond to your request within 30 days of receiving your identification*
5.4 We may add an administration fee to the request if it is manifestly unfounded or excessive
5.5 Before commencing the request, we will ask you to supply identification, the request will not begin until relevant ID has been supplied. 
* If the request is complex or we have received multiple requests from the same individual we will extend the time limit to respond by an extra 60 days
6.0 Our Website
6.1 We may have links to other websites, we do not accept any responsibility for any information displayed and we do not have any input into what is published. This is the same for any external websites that have link to ours. 
6.2 We advise that anyone under the age of 18 that uses our website should do so with adult supervision. 
6.3 We advise any visitor to our site that you will not be able to republish/ duplicate/ use any content anywhere else. This is solely owned by First Call Funeral Support UK
7.0 Cancellations
7.1 When a service is booked a 20% deposit will be taken, this will be 20% of the quote/ Estimate. You have the right to cancel a booked service, if the service is cancelled 24 hours or more prior to service start date/ time you will receive a full refund for any deposit paid.
7.2 If the service is cancelled in less than 24 hours of service start date/ time you will not be able to get a refund for any deposits paid due to us having little notice and unable to seek alternative duties.
